Our History
Rural Women Welfare Society (RWWS) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and vulnerable communities in rural areas of Chattogram district, Bangladesh. Founded in 2010, the organization works to promote women’s empowerment, social justice, and sustainable development among marginalized populations.
For more than a decade, RWWS has been actively supporting women, children, and displaced communities—especially those affected by poverty, inequality, and displacement. Through community-based programs, capacity-building initiatives, and humanitarian support, RWWS strives to create opportunities for women to lead dignified and independent lives.
Since its establishment in 2010, RWWS has worked with thousands of women and families across rural communities in Chattogram. By strengthening local capacity and encouraging community participation, the organization continues to contribute to long-term social and economic development.
